Daemon crash via igmpPacketKind buffer overflow

Buffer overflow in igmpPacketKind in igmpproxy 0.4 allows remote attackers to crash the daemon via malformed IGMP type and code values. The default branch formats attacker-controlled unsigned values with sprintf() into a 20-byte static buffer; hexadecimal values can exceed the nominal two-character width and overwrite the stack. An unauthenticated attacker able to deliver IGMP traffic to a listening interface can terminate the multicast-routing process without reading or modifying data.
