Service interruption via oversized query parameters
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Buffer overflow in the /xwgl_bwr.asp endpoint in D-Link DI-8003 16.07.26A1 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via HTTP GET. The endpoint copies oversized name, qq, and time query parameters into a fixed-size buffer without checking their lengths. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is service interruption rather than data access or code execution.
