Unauthenticated service crash via oversized name parameter
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DI-8003 16.07.26A1 allows remote attackers to crash the device via a crafted HTTP request. The /url_member.asp handler accepts an oversized name parameter without enforcing the stack buffer's size limit, corrupting memory. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published impact is limited to an availability loss rather than data access or modification.
