Unauthenticated service interruption via overlong parameters
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Buffer overflow in D-Link DI-8003 16.07.26A1 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted /time_group.asp request. The endpoint copies overlong name and mem parameter values without checking the destination buffer size, corrupting firmware memory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to loss of availability.
