Arbitrary file upload via unchecked set_image task
Published May 24, 2025 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in eMagicOne Store Manager for WooCommerce 1.2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to write files to the web server. The set_image() task accepts an attacker-controlled filename and file body through the connector endpoint without validating the file type, allowing executable PHP to be placed in a writable web directory. Exploitation requires the unchanged 1:1 default credentials or valid connector credentials; a web-accessible upload permits server-side code execution.
