Remote memory corruption via oversized MDIR argument

A buffer overflow in FreeFloat FTP Server 1.0 allows remote attackers to corrupt process memory through the MDIR command handler. The published record attributes the overflow to MDIR command processing but does not disclose the copying routine, destination buffer, or triggering length. The flaw is reachable without authentication or user interaction and permits memory corruption in the FTP service process.
