Unauthenticated session hijacking via unrevoked sessions
Published Jul 28, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Improper session invalidation in PHPGurukul e-Diary Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to hijack active sessions. The change-password component leaves an existing session usable after the account password changes, but the deleted public proof-of-concept leaves the exact invalidation operation undisclosed. The published material does not disclose how remote attackers obtain the earlier session identifier or what application actions the reused session permits.
