Session hijacking via retained session identifiers
Published Jul 28, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Improper session invalidation in PHPGurukul Small CRM 3.0 allows remote attackers to hijack user sessions after a password change. The /crm/change-password.php workflow fails to invalidate the current session after a credential change, leaving a captured or fixed identifier usable. Exploitation requires a victim to authenticate with an attacker-known session identifier, after which the attacker can access the account and change its password.
