Administrator access via tokens issued after failed logins
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Aug 5, 2025
Authentication bypass in Blue Access Cobalt X1 02.000.187 and earlier allows remote attackers to gain administrator access without credentials. The login endpoint returns a valid administrator bearer token after an invalid credential attempt, and the token's redirect path opens the privileged dashboard. Network access to the web login is sufficient; the resulting session can control doors and employee badge access.
