CVE-2025-50428Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unsanitized interface parameter

Published Aug 27, 2025 · Updated Aug 29, 2025

OS command injection in RaspAP raspap-webgui 3.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. SaveHostAPDConfig() writes the unvalidated interface value to hostapd.ini and the session, and later exec() calls concatenate it into iw and iwgetid shell commands. A valid RaspAP login and CSRF token are required, and the crafted configuration must be loaded again; successful exploitation runs commands as www-data.
