Device crash via unchecked fac_password length
Published Nov 26, 2025 · Updated Dec 4, 2025
Buffer overflow in FAST FAC1200R firmware F400_FAC1200R_Q allows remote attackers to crash the device via a crafted HTTP request. The sub_80435780 function processes an oversized fac_password string without checking its length, causing a buffer overflow when webPwd is set. The published request supplies 8,192 fac_password characters and includes a session token; only a device crash has been demonstrated.
