Router crash via unchecked password length

Buffer overflow in Mercury D196G firmware d196gv1-cn-up_2020-01-09_11.21.44 allows remote attackers to crash the router. The sub_404CAEDC function accepts the webPwd password value without checking its length before processing it in a fixed-size context. A crafted HTTP JSON request containing an 8,192-byte password triggers the device crash without user interaction or prior privileges.
