Privileged actions via CSRF token bypass

Cross-site request forgery in SmartVista Suite BackOffice 2.2.22 allows attackers to perform privileged actions through crafted GET requests. Converting state-changing POST requests to GET requests causes the application to process the same parameters without validating the svSentinel CSRF token in either the header or request parameters. An authenticated user must open attacker-controlled content; the resulting request can create privileged users, change user passwords, or modify and delete system data under that user’s authority.
