Hard-coded credentials in all EcoGuideTAB PV-DR004J and PV-DR004JA versions allow physically proximate attackers to read or alter stored data. The product accepts a user ID and password embedded identically across the series to authorize access over the inter-unit Wi-Fi network. Exploitation requires Wi-Fi proximity and access obtained through CVE-2025-5022, enabling data destruction and service interruption as well as disclosure and tampering.
