Server file disclosure via unchecked image path
Published Jun 18, 2025 · Updated Jun 18, 2025
Path traversal in Lychee 6.6.6 through 6.6.9 allows remote attackers to read server files through crafted image requests. SecurePathController resolves the supplied image path on the local storage disk without first confirming that the result remains under its storage root. The published vector requires no privileges, although the advisory text also describes a low-privileged account; exposure is limited to readable server files.
