CVE-2025-50200Public exploit

Credential disclosure via unredacted Authorization header logging

Published Jun 19, 2025 · Updated Jun 20, 2025

Information disclosure in RabbitMQ Server 3.13.0 through 3.13.7 and 4.0.0 through 4.0.7 exposes Basic Auth credentials to local users. RabbitMQ Management HTTP API error handling writes the complete request-header map, including the Authorization value, to node logs without redaction. Access to node logs is required; Base64 decoding reveals the requesting user's username and password, enabling account misuse within that credential's permissions.
