Administrator command execution via unvalidated shell input
Published Mar 2, 2026 · Updated Mar 2, 2026
OS command injection in Chamilo LMS before 1.11.30 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute arbitrary shell commands. The /main/cron/lang/check_parse_lang.php component insufficiently validates user-controlled data before passing it to the operating-system shell. Administrator privileges are required, and commands run as the application process, permitting data access, modification, and service interruption.
