Administrator command execution via unsanitized database name
Published Mar 2, 2026 · Updated Mar 2, 2026
OS command injection in Chamilo LMS before 1.11.30 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through a crafted database name. The VChamilo import path accepts the submitted database name without filtering shell metacharacters before passing it to operating-system command execution. Administrator access is required, and injected commands run with the web process privileges, enabling data modification and service interruption.
