Database disclosure and service interruption via unbound dates
Published Mar 2, 2026 · Updated Mar 2, 2026
SQL injection in Chamilo LMS before 1.11.30 allows remote attackers to read database data and interrupt service through a SOAP request. The WSCertificatesList function interpolates its startingDate and endingDate arguments into certificate.created_at conditions instead of binding them as parameters. The registration SOAP endpoint provides the unauthenticated network path; crafted date values alter query logic for time-based extraction, while the vendor reports no direct database-integrity impact.
