CVE-2025-50185Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file read via unchecked CSV path

Published Jul 26, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025

Path traversal in the DbGate CSV plugin through 6.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The reader behind POST /runners/load-reader accepts props.fileName as a filesystem path without restricting its location, content type, or extension. Application-level access and a valid bearer token are required; successful requests disclose any file readable by the DbGate process, including privileged files in root-run containers.
