Browser script execution via unsanitized error parameter
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Reflected XSS in WWBN AVideo 14.4 and dev master commit 8a8954ff allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted URL. view/videoNotFound.php inserts the 404ErrorMsg request value directly into an avideoAlertInfo JavaScript call without sanitization. The victim must open the crafted link; the script runs in that user's browser context and can compromise an administrator session.
