Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server allows remote authenticated users with high privileges to partially interrupt service over MySQL Protocol. Versions 8.0.0 through 8.0.42, 8.4.0 through 8.4.5, and 9.0.0 through 9.3.0 contain an Optimizer flaw whose resource-consuming operation Oracle has not disclosed. Exploitation requires a high-privilege database account and causes reduced availability rather than a complete crash or data impact.
