CVE-2025-5009Public exploit

Conversation-history disclosure via mis-scoped share links

Published Oct 8, 2025 · Updated Oct 8, 2025

Information disclosure in Google Gemini for iOS allows attackers to read an entire conversation through a public snippet-sharing link. The iOS sharing flow generates a public link for the full conversation rather than restricting it to the prompt selected in the interface. A Gemini user must actively select a prompt and create the link; anyone who obtains it can read the complete chat without authentication.
