DoS in Oracle MySQL Server 8.0.0 through 8.0.42, 8.4.0 through 8.4.5, and 9.0.0 through 9.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to crash or hang it. Oracle identifies the Server Optimizer as the affected component but has not published the faulty operation or triggering input. A low-privileged account with network access over the MySQL protocol can trigger a hang or frequently repeatable server crash, without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
