Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server through 9.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to hang or repeatedly crash the database server. Affected branches are 8.0.0 through 8.0.42, 8.4.0 through 8.4.5, and 9.0.0 through 9.3.0; Oracle has not disclosed the faulty Optimizer operation or triggering input. Exploitation requires a high-privileged account with MySQL Protocol network access, and the reported consequence is service interruption only.
