Stored XSS in CodePen Embed Block 1.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into WordPress pages. Public advisories attribute the flaw to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping but do not identify the affected field or function. Administrator-level access is required; exposure is limited to multisite deployments or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled, and injected scripts run when a user opens the affected page.
