Stored script execution via unsanitized tag settings
Published Jun 20, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in the Tealium WordPress plugin 2.1.20 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into site pages. The settings handler inadequately sanitizes administrator-supplied tag configuration values before storing them for later rendering in generated pages. Administrator access to Tealium Settings and a later page visit are required, bounding the impact to script execution in a visitor's browser.
