Unauthorized action via missing nonce validation
Published Jun 20, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in David Wood TM Replace Howdy 1.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger an unauthorized settings action. An affected function omits or incorrectly performs WordPress nonce validation before accepting the state-changing request; public sources do not name the function or action. Exploitation requires an administrator to follow a crafted link or submit a forged form, after which the request performs an unwanted action with that session.
