Out-of-bounds read in RTI Connext Professional Core Libraries allows remote attackers to disclose memory or crash applications via RTPS discovery. During DataWriter or DataReader discovery, the core libraries perform an invalid memory read while parsing a malicious RTPS message. Exposure requires endpoint discovery without RTPS, discovery, or RTPS PSK protection; the bounded outcomes are memory disclosure and an application crash.
