Phishing redirection via unvalidated redirect target
Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Open redirect in FunnelKit Automations 3.6.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to send users to phishing sites through crafted links. The redirect handler accepts an attacker-controlled destination and sends it without the host validation performed by WordPress safe-redirect logic. No authentication is required, but a user must follow the crafted link; the resulting cross-site redirect exposes that user to phishing content without altering the WordPress site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
