Contributor-level stored script execution
Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
Stored XSS in WP CodeUs Advanced Sermons 3.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into rendered sermon pages. Public records do not identify the affected field or the code path that accepts and renders the stored input without adequate neutralization. Contributor access is required to plant the payload, and a privileged user’s interaction triggers script execution in that user’s browser.
