Unauthenticated command execution via path_list shell interpolation
Published Jul 15, 2025 · Updated Jul 16, 2025
Command injection in RVC-Boss GPT-SoVITS 20250228v3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through its WebUI. The change_label function in webui.py inserts the user-controlled path_list value into a quoted command string and passes it to Popen with shell=True. No authentication or user interaction is required, and injected commands run with the server process's privileges.
