Unauthenticated client impersonation via malformed AWS header validation

Authentication bypass in CyberArk Conjur OSS and Secrets Manager, Self-Hosted allows remote attackers to assume a client’s permissions. A malformed regular expression accepts attacker-manipulated AWS-signed headers and redirects the IAM validation request from AWS to an attacker-controlled server. Exploitation requires control over the signed-header values; a successful request impersonates the affected client and inherits only that client’s authorized access.
