Remote code execution via RRAS heap overflow

Heap overflow in RRAS in Windows Server 2008 SP2 through 2025 allows remote attackers to execute code through a malicious server. Microsoft identifies the faulty service and memory-corruption class but has not published the affected function or malformed field that overruns the heap buffer. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker to convince a user to connect to an attacker-controlled server, after which code executes in the RRAS context.
