Unauthenticated memory disclosure via improper input validation

Improper input validation in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 through 2022 allows remote attackers to read process memory over a network. The network-processing path returns data from uninitialized memory after failing to validate attacker-controlled input; Microsoft has not named a more specific function or packet field. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposed memory can contain sensitive data without allowing modification or service interruption.
