CVE-2025-49651Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated session takeover via exposed web terminals

Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 11, 2025

Missing authorization in Lablup Backend.AI 25.3.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over sessions via exposed web terminals. Each interactive session exposes a web terminal on a random compute-node port that accepts direct requests without authentication or an authorization check. Exploitation requires network reachability to that port; the maintainer requires compute-node isolation, while a successful takeover permits reading or altering session data and interrupting the owner’s access.
