Code execution via unserialized CallbackCollection gadget
Published Jun 13, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
Deserialization gadget in Handcrafted in the Alps Goodby CSV before 1.4.3 allows attackers to execute code in a vulnerable host application. CallbackCollection permits PHP object restoration because it lacks a __wakeup guard, allowing the class to participate in a gadget chain. Exploitation requires a separate application flaw that passes attacker-controlled data to unserialize(), and no direct goodby-csv exploit is known.
