Data disclosure via unvalidated file URLs
Published Jul 2, 2025 · Updated Jul 2, 2025
Local file inclusion in Linkwarden 2.10.2 allows remote attackers to read other users' archived links through crafted file URLs. The link-creation path accepts file URLs without validating their scheme before sending them to archive parsers and Playwright. Self-registration and link creation are required; predictable user and file identifiers expose archived content, while default configuration limits access to secrets.
