Authenticated code execution via unsafe XClass preview
Published Jun 13, 2025 · Updated Jun 13, 2025
Incorrect authorization in affected XWiki Platform releases allows remote authenticated users with AWM edit rights to execute server-side code. PropertyClass.displayCustom previews an edited XClass with the persisted class document's author and restriction context instead of the edited owner document's context. Editing one App Within Minutes application, a right granted to all users by default, is sufficient to gain programming rights and execute code on the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
