Authenticated code execution via unanalyzed XClass properties
Published Jun 13, 2025 · Updated Jun 13, 2025
Code execution in XClass definitions in XWiki Platform allows remote authenticated users to run code as a privileged editor via crafted properties. The required-rights document analyzer omits custom display code, computed-property scripts, and database-list queries from its warning analysis. Exploitation requires edit rights to plant the XClass and a later edit by a user holding script, administration, or programming rights.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
