Privilege escalation via forged authenticated requests
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
CSRF in Adobe Commerce 2.4.4-p14 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges through a victim's session. Adobe has not published the affected request handler or the missing anti-CSRF validation that permits a forged request to execute in that session. Exploitation requires high-privileged access and an authenticated victim to visit a malicious site or crafted link, enabling unauthorized access to or modification of sensitive data.
