Code injection in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through crafted Git metadata. The EDA project-creation path passes branch, tag, commit, and refspec fields directly into Ansible Jinja2 templates without sanitization. Project-creation access is required; synchronization executes injected expressions on the EDA worker, enabling sensitive-file access and OpenShift service-account token theft.
