CVE-2025-49493Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated file disclosure via SOAP external entities

Published Jun 30, 2025 · Updated Sep 24, 2025

XXE injection in Akamai CloudTest before build 12988 allows remote attackers to read server files through crafted SOAP requests. SOAP endpoints under /concerto/services parse attacker-supplied XML with external DTD processing enabled, allowing SYSTEM entities to reference local files. No authentication or user interaction is required; error-based entity expansion exposes file contents and also causes outbound HTTP requests.
