CVE-2025-49490Network attack vector

Authenticated resource leakage

Published Jul 1, 2025 · Updated Jul 1, 2025

Improper resource release in ASR Falcon_Linux, Kestrel, and Lapwing_Linux before 1536 allows remote authenticated users to leak resources. The vendor identifies router/sms/sms.c as the affected locus but does not disclose which SMS-processing path fails to release which resource. Low-privileged network access is required; the vendor does not specify whether accumulated leaks cause a hang, crash, or another service interruption.
