Authenticated denial of service via buffer overflow
Published Jul 10, 2025 · Updated Jul 10, 2025
Classic buffer overflow in Zoom Clients for Windows before 6.4.5 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the client over a network. Zoom has not disclosed the affected component, input field, or copy operation that writes past the destination buffer. Low-privileged network access is required; no user interaction is needed, and the published impact is limited to denial of service without distinguishing a crash from a hang.
