Settings changes via missing nonce validation
Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Interactive UK Regional Map 2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings. The affected settings handler accepts state-changing requests without valid nonce verification; public records do not identify its function name. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to open a crafted link or page, after which the request uses that administrator's session to alter map configuration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
