Database access via unescaped Email parameter
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Employee Record Management System 1.3 allows remote attackers to access its database through Email. The registererms.php registration handler interpolates the user-controlled POST Email value inside a quoted mysqli_query SELECT without parameter binding or server-side validation. No account is required to submit the registration request; boolean-based blind queries can disclose database information, and the published report also describes data modification or deletion.
