Stored XSS via missing nonce validation
Published Dec 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 31, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in merzedes Custom Style 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to plant stored XSS through forged requests. The plugin's CSS-saving action accepts attacker-controlled content without valid nonce verification; public advisories do not identify the responsible function or parameter. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active WordPress session to open a crafted link or page, after which the stored payload executes for site visitors.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
