Database compromise via unsanitized report date parameters
Published May 19, 2025 · Updated May 19, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Daily Expense Tracker System 1.1 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through report date inputs. The expense-monthwise-reports-detailed.php handler uses the fromdate and todate values in a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting database access is bounded by the application's database privileges.
