Arbitrary file deletion via forged administrator request
Published Jun 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in POEditor 0.9.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files via forged requests. Public records identify missing or incorrect nonce validation and path traversal, but they do not disclose the affected handler or its path-processing operation. Exploitation requires an administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content while authenticated; successful deletion can interrupt the WordPress site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
